These days are long gone now. I didn’t know how quickly this time would pass.

I took it for granted that our boy would stay our boy a little longer.

Stupid me.

  1. Oh! You’re making me feel nostalgic and wishing time would freeze. Our kids are 4 now and nights are still a hassle. Maybe one day I’ll miss the insomnia. The photo is so precious ❤

    1. Try to enjoy the hassle! They’ll be over before you know it. These moments are fleeting and irreplaceable. Thank you for stopping by!! 😁

  2. The look on your son’s face is so precious. Wonderful photo. I am working on the Poetry Challenge post for tomorrow. I wanted to ask if I could post your beautiful flower photo with your poem, since they are so linked together. I would provide you photo credit. : )
Please let me know as soon as you can. I will post in 16-18 hours (4 pm Monday our time now, it’s late where you are…) Thanks, Rebecca

  3. It sure goes by fast, doesn’t it? One of my guys occasionally asks me to lie with him before bed and “just talk”–which really means he wants to talk and I just listen. Usually a topic his twin has heard enough of–the latest obsession is speed cubing. The boys are going to their first cubing competition next month and can’t wait! I do miss those bedtime stories days, too, though!

    1. It’s fantastic that they’re chatting to you about what’s important to them as they get older! It’s a gift. And such a pleasure as they grow and their interest change. You’re doing something right! 😁

      1. Thanks, Aggie. I hope so. I have such fun with them–I hope they never stop talking with me (but I’m sure we’ll have our moments!).
