Just a short post this morning.
I am heading out to the seaside town of Worthing from London to interview a supporter for work.
On the way there I saw a Hindu woman chatting warmly with her Muslim friend.
They talked about family. About food. About cooking. All the things that they love and share. All the things that can unite us across cultures and helps us realise we’re not that different from each other.
As her friend left the train, she wished her well for Ramadan.
I am Christian. As many of you know, my life will fall apart without my faith. And I was so very heartened by this small and ordinary exchange of care and affection between friends.

I feel that on a personal level, many people of differing religions get along. It is more as a group with overarching policies that there is conflict.
