I had a full and worthwhile day at work.
Now I’m sitting at a restaurant waiting for my dinner.
WordPress asks today what are the pros and cons of procrastination. So here goes.
Pros
- I get to read that fascinating book that I was always meaning to
- The bathroom becomes very clean. The floor gets a vacuum too.
- I get to catch up with friends or at least see their lives on my social media feed… for hours
- I go for an incredible walk where I get to see the sun dip slowly over the horizon
- Napping is always amazing. But it’s even more so when procrastinating.
- I write my heart out on my blog for the world to see. It is scary, but also deeply satisfying.
- I dive into my wardrobe and find joy in my long forgotten clothes. Sometimes I may do a little fashion show for me.
- Music becomes that much more emotional and enjoyable.
- Chocolate is ah-mazing!
Cons
- Nothing gets done…

I don’t see any cons to procrastination. The way I see it, if I’m procrastinating, something is wrong and it needs to be fixed

Haha! Yes. Funny how when I have to do the bathroom floor, things like eating chocolate become really important!!

Cleaning is a delay tactic for me too. Results are nice. 🙂

I only bring it out if I really REALLY don’t want to do something

I’ve noticed it can give me the energy to get the more dreaded task done.
