A friend and I headed to Green Park this morning to lay a floral tribute to the late Queen.
It was closed when we got there. So we followed the crowd to Hyde Park instead.
The sun was shining. The sky was blue. And we paid our last respects to Elizabeth the Great.

What a lovely way to pay tribute to the Queen. Reminds me of when Diana passed away. 😢

Thank you 🙏 I was in the kitchen when I first heard the news Diana had died. The out pouring of grief from people was incredible. There’s more a sense of thankfulness with the Queen’s passing.

Yes, it is a different feeling with the Queen; gratitude for a long life well lived in service of others.
