Evening drinks at our local pub

It was New Year’s Eve. A kind friend invited me out for drinks at our local pub.

I have awful trouble with alcohol. I get quite ill very quickly. But it was lovely to sit and enjoy my friend’s company over my pint of Diet Coke.

The pub culture feels different here. It seems more family friendly and conducive to cosy chats with friends. I’m enjoying it very much.

Happy new year all!
