We walked all the way to Richmond park a few weeks ago. It was a beautiful day. And we got to see deer 🦌!
The memory is for Becky’s Tree Squares this month.
The weather has been beautiful in London lately. Sunshine and blue skies. Just glorious.
I’ve been writing lots for work. But I haven’t been blogging a lot. I am enjoying the English summer too much.
A young man who serves me coffee most mornings at my favourite cafe asked me recently where I worked.
“I’m a writer,” I said. “I work just around the corner in our living room.”
It was the first time I admitted to myself I wrote for a living, let alone to anyone else.
“Oh! We have someone who comes here who is a writer too,” he said.
“She gets a coffee, sits down at the table downstairs and works on screen plays. You are more than welcome to do the same!”
If I’m not getting inspiration under a tree, I think I might take him up on his kind offer!

Great that you call yourself a writer! The cafe may seem very cozy in the winter. : )

what a great day to share you are a writer – I’d sit under the tree as much as you can though!
