Now this is a place my son loves to visit.
There were a couple of exhibitions on at the British Museum, but he preferred to look at the permanent display.
We wandered through rooms with artefacts from ancient civilisations. Marvelled at the fact people could achieve so much without modern technology.
Enjoyed watching our son soak up every moment in there.

That was one of my favorite places to visit with my father, when I was a young child.

I am in awe of ancient architecture. I had a new front walk put in less than 5 years ago and it is starting to crumble in spots. How in the world does that even happen?

It’s so easy to get lost wandering around the British Museum. Knowledge is endless there. Sounds like you had an awesome day ☺️

I love the V&A!! It’s a wonder museum. But my favourite would have to be the Tate Modern😁

What an enjoyable outing! Sounds lovely. I went on a garden tour with “Eagle” this weekend and we had a lot of fun. Eagle loves nature very much.

Reminds me of E. L. Konigsburg’s, “From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler.” If he ever runs away from home, check the museum first. 😉
